ATTENTION 8th GRADE STUDENTS planning on attending James Island Charter High School next year - High School Information night will be held in the cafeteria on Monday, February 6 from 6-7pm.

Congratulations to Hanna Reid! She won first place in the Trident Region in this year's middle school level National Career Development Association's poetry contest. Parents of 8th Graders  Every 8th grade student and a parent or guardian must have an Individual Graduation Plan (IGP) conference before registering for high school classes in the spring. The transition process, high school graduation requirements, college prep requirements, academic and elective classes, and career clusters will be discussed during the conference. Call or email Mrs. Engle in the JIMS Guidance Office now to make your appointment. paula_engle@charleston.k12.sc.us or call 762-2784 ext.62108. Conferences typically take 20-30 minutes and appointments are available Wednesdays-Fridays.
