Welcome to 7th Grade Social Studies!


About the course: We will begin the year with the Age of Exploration and will learn history through the present day. Some units of study will include Revolutions, Industrialism, the World Wars, and Globalization.


About Ms. Yarborough: This will be my 4th year teaching 7th grade social studies! I grew up in Charleston where I attended Ashley River Elementary and then School of the Arts until 10th grade. My family then moved to Tennessee where I graduated from Ravenwood High School in 2005. In May of 2009, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History & Secondary Education from Winthrop University. I then continued on to receive my Masters  in Education Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Winthrop in May of 2011.
